The indazole scaffold is commonly found in drugs. Modifying active indazole derivatives based on structure-activity relationships can help obtain more potent lead compounds or clinical drugs. FDA-approved drugs such as axitinib, entrectinib and granisetron are used to treat renal cell carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting.
The indazole has the following functions in drugs:
◆ Pharmaceutical Active Modulating
◆ Drug Resistance Reducing
◆ Pharmacokinetic Improving
◆ Selectivity Increasing
